ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is on the lookout for a missing person last seen on September 7 near a local gas station.
Deputies say 66-year-old Albert Boone Jr. exited his brother-in-law’s truck while it was parked at a Sunoco gas station located at 4221 E. University Ave. They say Boone has not been seen since.
ACSO says Boone’s brother-in-law reported him missing. He told deputies that Boone is experiencing multiple medical deficiencies that require “constant” monitoring and medication.
He reported to ACSO that Boone does not have his medication with him.

According to ACSO, Boone has had past experiences of wandering into strangers’ cars due to mental/developmental impairments.
ACSO says Boone is often in the area of Copeland Park, but usually under the supervision of a family member.
The family told ACSO that he is not violent, nor does he have a history of drug abuse.
His family expresses concern that Boone might accept illicit drugs due to his mental impairments.
