CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Who’s hungry?

Citrus County Fire Rescue (CCFR hears your rumbling stomach and raises a solution: Domino’s Pizza.

Oct. 6-10 is National Fire Safety Week. In partnership with the pizza giants, CCFR says residents who place a delivery order from Domino’s Pizza Store #3293 in Inverness on Thursday, Oct. 10 between 4 and 6 p.m., may receive a special surprise.

The department says your order could be randomly selected to be delivered aboard a CCFR fire engine! In addition, firefighters will help check your smoke alarm. If the alarm works, congratulations! CCFR says your Domino’s Pizza order will be free. If it doesn’t work, CCFR says they will replace the batteries or install new alarms at no cost to you.

“In a typical home fire, you may have as little as two minutes to escape safely once the smoke alarm sounds,” says CCFR. “Working smoke alarms save lives, and we’re teaming up with Domino’s Pizza to ensure they’re working in as many homes as possible.”

CCFR says Domino’s Pizza Store #3293 is the only store participating in this event, so make sure to place your order through them.
