NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA (352today.com) – More than 3 million voters in Florida have already cast their ballots ahead of the general election, according to the latest data from the Florida Division of Elections.
Out of Florida’s 13.8 million registered active voters, early participation reflects significant engagement across the state, with 1,811,305 mail-in ballots already received and 1,521,620 votes cast at early polling locations.
The state reported 5,455,480 registered Republicans, 4,400,561 registered Democrats, and 3,584,982 voters with no party affiliation as of Oct. 9. Early voting officially runs from Oct. 25 through Nov. 2; however, counties have the option to extend early voting from Oct. 21 to Nov. 3, depending on local decisions.
With Election Day approaching on Nov. 5, voter turnout is steadily rising, underscoring the strong interest in Florida’s election races this year. As of Friday morning, another 1,678,450 mail ballots requested remain outstanding, likely contributing to a steady increase in early and mail-in voting numbers in the coming days.
