The closures will impact access to the interstate and a nearby rest area as part of a 14-mile resurfacing project from the Sumter County line to State Road (SR) 200.

    • Date and Time: Closed overnight from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.
    • Purpose: Installation of a signal pole and mast arm.
    • Detour Route: Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 from CR 484 should follow this route:
      • Drive east on CR 484.
      • Turn left onto CR 475.
      • Turn left onto Southeast 32nd St. (which becomes Southwest 42nd St. and then Southwest 43rd St. Rd.).
      • Turn right onto SR 200.
      • Finally, turn left onto the northbound I-75 on-ramp.
  • Southbound I-75 Rest Area Near Mile Marker 346
    • Date and Time: Closed overnight from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.
    • Purpose: Resurfacing of the entrance and exit ramps.

      • Rest stop located 37 miles north near mile marker 382 in Alachua County.
