THE VILLAGES, FL (352today.com) – The Villages Model Train Club is gearing up to host the “largest free Christmas train show in Florida.” The event will take place at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center from December 12th to 15th.
“Last Christmas we helped stoke the Christmas spirit in over 9,000 wonderful young people – and young at heart – at our free show and this Christmas we are hoping for even more,” says The Villages Model Train Club member Allen Farrell.
Farrell says that you can expect to see a variety of model trains running on different gauges, including iconic brands like Lionel, American Flyer, and Marx. The show will also feature stunning train scenes and a special appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
“What better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than a free Christmas train show?” Farrell implores.
This free event is open to the public and Farrell says that it promises to bring joy and holiday cheer to people of all ages.
