OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Humane Society of Marion County (HSMC) is thrilled to host its Annual Santa Paws event on Friday, Dec. 13, at Citizens’ Circle in Downtown Ocala. Running from 5 to 8 p.m., this festive gathering promises an evening of family-friendly fun and holiday cheer, all in support of a great cause.
“Santa Paws is a fun holiday event for everyone to have an evening of joy in Downtown Ocala,” says HSMC Outreach Coordinator Angie Stokes. “Bring your pets for photos with Santa, thanks to Sensational Selfies, and enjoy a variety of activities while supporting our shelter pets.”

There will also be vendor booths, and animals available for adoption, as well as a silent auction featuring items like a Miranda Lambert autographed CD and photo, a Salon Bliss basket, holiday pet gift baskets, and more. Proceeds from the event will help provide top-notch care for the Humane Society’s shelter animals until they find their forever homes.
“If you are an animal lover, this event is for you,” says Stokes. “We couldn’t do it without our generous sponsors including Honda of Ocala, Sensational Selfies, Lennar Homes, Bart Blessing State Farm, Tamara York with Engel & Völkers, and Walt’s Pawn & Jewelry Buyer.”
Advance tickets are still available here.
Stokes also says to stick around for After Dark in the Park, featuring a free screening of Santa Buddies with popcorn, starting at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the movie under the stars.
