OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A respected and trusted name in auto repair and service is preparing for a significant expansion.
Weide Automotive marked this milestone on Feb. 21 with a groundbreaking ceremony held in collaboration with the Ocala Metro CEP.
“We’re going to hear from our good friend Brien; he’s going to tell us a little bit about this expansion and what we can expect,” said Jess Schultz, Ocala Metro CEP vice president of partner engagement.
The veteran-owned auto shop is expanding from 1,200 square feet to 5,800 square feet, said owner Brien Weidemiller.

“It’s an exciting endeavor,” said Weidemiller, who expressed gratitude to Main Street Bank for financing the project, Straight Line Construction for their work, and Pat Myers Electric for their involvement. “We already have a strong connection with the community, and with this expansion, we can do even more. We’re going from 1,200 to almost 6,000 square feet, so it’s a big jump, and we should be able to help out a lot more in the community.”
Weidemiller describes his business as a down-home automotive repair shop.
“We fix everything—from gas to diesel to trailers. Anything the community needs, we do,” he said.
