OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida (CF) Patriots delivered a strong performance on Saturday, sweeping their doubleheader against Eastern Florida State College with decisive wins of 10-2 and 10-0. The victories evened CF’s Citrus Conference record at 3-3 and secured a 2-1 series win over the Titans.
Game 1: Power at the Plate and Strong Pitching
In the opener, the Patriots’ offense was fueled by Victor Martinez, who launched two home runs—his third and fourth of the season—while driving in four runs.

Logan Chapman added three hits and three RBI, while Jacob McKenzie also homered to contribute to the scoring.

On the mound, Jay Jung started and pitched 3.1 no-hit innings, allowing just one run despite issuing five walks. He worked out of multiple jams before handing the ball to Cooper Ryan, who earned the win with 1.2 innings of relief, surrendering two hits and one run while striking out two. Kohl Kilcrease closed out the final two innings, allowing no hits and striking out one to secure the victory.
Game 2: Complete Domination
The Patriots dominated in all facets of the second game. Peyton Fall (2-0) turned in his best performance of the season, tossing a five-inning complete-game shutout. Fall limited the Titans to just two hits and one walk while striking out five.

Offensively, CF’s bats exploded for 14 hits in just five innings. Chapman and Armando Guirola led the charge with three hits each. McKenzie belted his second home run of the day and third of the season, while Marcus Bradshaw and Anthony Diaz combined for two hits apiece and three RBI.
Looking Ahead
With the sweep, CF improves to 14-4 overall and 3-3 in the Citrus Conference, while Eastern Florida State falls to 12-7 (3-3).
