OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Ocala’s I-75 gateway sign.
The ceremony is set to take place on Friday, April 7, at 10 a.m.

The new signage, funded by tourist development tax revenue, is located at the 42nd St. flyover near I-75. It is currently viewable for those traveling northbound.
The signage depicts “OCALA” and is accompanied by art panels, fencing and lighting installation.

Officials say they wish for the signage to enhance visitors’ experience and reinforce the county’s identity on I-75.
Two contacting companies who are actively hiring will be on hand at the Florida Department of Transportation’s Road to Your Future event in Wildwood March 16.
The Marion County Veterans Hall of Fame has become a reality, and will induct its first 12 members on March 19, 2026, at a dinner and ceremony at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.
