The exhibit, “Rivers, Springs, and Other Wild Things,” highlights the vast nature of the Ocklawaha and Silver Rivers.
MCA showcased the exhibit, which featured work from five regional artists, at the Brick City Center for the Arts in downtown Ocala.

Sculptures, drawings, and photographs depicting Ocala’s natural beauty were displayed, including a sandstone sculpture of a lobster and fish.
The art walk also allowed art admirers to talk with the artists one-on-one about their work.

The exhibit, in addition to acting as a pedestal to bring the talents of regional artists to the forefront, called for conserving these natural areas.
“Through mesmerizing imagery and masterful craftsmanship, these artists highlight the delicate beauty of our waterways, inspiring audiences to protect and preserve them for future generations,” says MCA.

The exhibit will remain open until March 29. No RSVP is needed, and the event is free to the public.
