WEIRSDALE, FL (352today.com) – Families in Weirsdale can look forward to outdoor fun as Marion County Parks & Recreation begins work on brand-new playground equipment at Weirsdale Park, located at 16286 SE 137th Court.
Crews have started removing the old playground to make room for a modern play space that brings safe, new features.

While the playground area will be closed during the renovation, the rest of the park, including the basketball court, picnic tables, and walking trails, will remain open to the public.
This upgrade is part of the county’s 10-year master plan to improve recreational spaces and provide high-quality amenities for families.
