OCALA, FL (352today.com) – If you’ve been thinking about sprucing up your home or backyard, the Ocala Big Bloom Home & Garden Show might be just the inspiration you need.
Set for April 25-27 at the World Equestrian Center, this free family-friendly event brings together everything from garden blooms and home décor to pool upgrades and outdoor kitchens all under one roof. Parking is free, too.
Inside, more than 7,000 square feet will be devoted to plants, trees, and flowers at the Big Bloom sale, with local nurseries offering everything from vibrant roses to vegetable garden starters. There’s even a special Rose Festival hosted by the Marion County Rose Society, with gardening talks and a rose contest that’s open to the public.
Looking for a project idea or some grown-up “me time”? Catch one of the free seminars on home design, solar energy, or landscaping. GardenLine host Skip Richter will also be on hand to answer questions.
And yes, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained. The Kids Zone will offer crafts and activities, and little ones can try their hand at making fairy gardens or teacup rose arrangements. Pet lovers can even meet adoptable furry friends on-site.
The event runs:
- Friday, April 25: 12–6 p.m.
- Saturday, April 26: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sunday, April 27: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Whether you’re looking to update the kitchen, finally finish that backyard project, or just want a fun outing with the kids, the Big Bloom Home & Garden Show might just have what you’re looking for. Learn more at showtechnology.com.
