OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala residents will once again be eatin’ good in the neighborhood after this Saturday, Oct. 11, because that’s when the Applebee’s at 2615 SW 19th Ave. Road reopens to the public after a breakneck week’s worth of remodeling.
The location, one of 46 in Central Florida owned by franchisee Neighborhood Restaurant Partners and closed since Oct. 5, will once again be serving up the casual dining chain’s favorite dishes and drinks, now in a newly reimagined space a press release calls “more modern” and “contemporary” with “open, bright dining areas with multiple seating options, including an updated bar area and restrooms.”
To celebrate, Neighborhood Restaurant Partners will be handing out vouchers for one free Ultimate Trio appetizer combo to the first 100 folks in line at 11 a.m. Saturday morning. The vouchers can be used that day, or any time before October 31 (at this Applebee’s only). What’s more, the restaurant will be donating $1 from every dessert sold to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which raises money to help turn the dreams of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses into reality.
