WILDWOOD, FL (352Today.com) – The Wildwood location of popular national fast-food franchise Culver’s is stepping up to raise funds for a beloved local athlete critically injured in a car accident.

Jeriyah Walker, a star athlete at Wildwood High School who helped her school win the Girl’s Rural Class 1A State Basketball Championship after closing out last season with an undefeated record, had to be airlifted from the scene of a major traffic collision with critical traumatic injuries in mid-September.

On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the Culver’s location at 5327 Sundance Trail in Wildwood will donate a portion of the proceeds from every meal sold toward expenses related to Jeriyah’s care and recovery. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m.-11p.m., and offers a wide variety of burgers, chicken meals, salads and other fast-casual fare; while they’re famous for their Wisconsin-style cheese curds and frozen custard, we’re partial to their North Atlantic Cod Sandwich.
