OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Utilities is alerting residents and customers in the Hunters Trace and Pine Ridge Estates communities to prepare for water service interruptions between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.
The interruptions will be caused by planned water treatment facility repairs and maintenance.
During interruptions and until they are advised the notice is lifted, “Customers are also advised to bring water intended for consumption to a rapid boil for at least one minute… As an alternative, bottled water may be used for these purposes, which include drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.”
Marion County Utilities further informs that water used for laundry and bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.
