SUMMERFIELD, FL (352today.com) – A 63-year-old resident of Cleveland, OH was struck and killed in the early hours of Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, in Summerfield in an apparent hit-and-run.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on the inside lane of U.S. 441 struck a pedestrian just south of SE 135th Street around 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Evidence shows the pedestrian may have been standing in the lane at the time of the collision.
The struck pedestrian was seen by a passerby, who alerted authorities. The vehicle is said to have fled in an unknown direction.
