OCALA, FL. (352today) – Meet the happiest pup who can be best described as a ball of energy wrapped up in soft fur. Hooch is waiting desperately for his Turner at the Humane Society of Marion County, so he can have a home this holiday season.
Hooch is a 2-year-old, German Shepherd Mix who weighs almost 60 pounds. He came to the Humane Society of Marion County as a stray and was later adopted. Unfortunately, Hooch was returned because his high energy was not suitable for the previous owner’s lifestyle. Despite the unhappy circumstances his joyful demeanor has not wavered. Thanks to the HSMC staff Hooch can sit, lay down, and is house trained. He is also a very good car rider; he just lays down on the back seat and enjoys the ride.
With no doubt Hooch Turner can turn anyone’s frown upside down with his infectious happy energy. His heart is as big as his size and he is ready to share unconditional love with everyone around him. Hooch is an active pup who loves to play and loves to cuddle after getting all his energy out. This sweet boy is as loyal and loving as they come and he can make a great companion to a home with people and other dogs to play with.
Hooch is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready to go to his forever home. You can meet Hooch Turner and other adoptable pets at the Humane Society of Marion County from Monday to Saturday 10a.m.-6p.m. at 701 NW 14th Road in Ocala.
