OXFORD, FL (352today.com) – Ninety-odd-year-old gas station and convenience store chain RaceTrac—founded in St. Louis, Missouri, don’t ya know—is opening a new location in Sumter County, and we’re all invited to be among the first to see it.
The new store is located at 4088 RaceTrac Way, just south of CR 466 on U.S. HWY 301 at the intersection of Sumter County Road 472 in Wildwood. The lights go on at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, and the first 100 people through the door will get a $25 gift card.
In addition to all the usual stuff you expect from a RaceTrac (a company that’s really gone all-in on hot food since competitors like Wawa arrived on the scene, with frozen yogurt bars, branded coffee, a million roller ovens and whatnot, and their pizza can be pretty on point), this one’s also got a “separate high-flow diesel canopy” for professional and fleet drivers.
