MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – One juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene and 12 other people were transported to the hospital with critical injuries on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, after a motor home and an SUV collided at the intersection of U.S. 27 and County Road 316 in Marion Couty.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, the motor home was traveling south on 27 and the SUV was traveling west on 316 when the vehicles collided, causing the RV to overturn.
The motor home was reportedly carrying 15 occupants at the time of the collision. The SUV’s driver and sole occupant was among those taken to the hospital.
