ALACHUA, FL (352today.com) – A hotel in Alachua caught fire in the early afternoon yesterday, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
According to a report by WCJB, the fire occurred at an America’s Best Value Inn, located at 16100 NW U.S. HWY 441 in Alachua. The blaze started in one of the rooms around 1 p.m. on Saturday; Alachua County Fire & Rescue and the High Springs Fire Department responded and extinguished the flames.
No one was injured.
