GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – The University of Florida Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UF CARD) is bringing its Stomp the Swamp for Autism Acceptance and Awareness event to–where else?–Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for its 17th year on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
“The University of Florida Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UF CARD) is dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals with autism and related disabilities, their families, and the professionals who work with them,” read the announcement. “UF CARD is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those affected by autism through education, training, and community outreach.”
This annual event invites anyone to walk or run the steps of The Swamp alongside other advocates, affected families, UF students and faculty, and community members to raise money for and awareness of UF CARD and its many services, from swimming lessons for children to employment training for adults.

- Tabling by vendors and UF organizations and researchers: Learn about the latest in autism research and support services
- Event T-Shirts: available with a $25 donation
- Silent Auction: Bid on exciting items and experiences
- Performances: Enjoy entertainment from local performers

This year’s Stomp the Swamp takes place on Saturday, March 7, with registration opening at 1:30 p.m. and the event beginning at 2 p.m. Access the stadium through Gate 7.
