OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol has announced that a prescribed burn of approximately 100 acres is currently active near the Alachua-Gilchrist County line, right around FL-26 & SE 90th Ave.
The announcement was made just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.
Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down and use low-beam headlights if necessary. Conditions may change or deteriorate rapidly, particularly after dark.
