OCALA, FL (352today.com) – According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a 22-year-old female motorcyclist was killed in a collision on southbound I-75 in Ocala when she was rear-ended by another vehicle at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

The motorcyclist was traveling southbound in the outside lane of I-75 when she was struck by a sedan driving behind her in the same lane near mile marker 349.

The motorcyclist was thrown from her vehicle into the path of an SUV traveling southbound in the center lane of the interstate and was struck. She was transported from the accident scene via ambulance to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

No others involved in the incident were injured.
