MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 47-year-old Ocala woman was killed on the evening of Sunday, April 19, 2026 in a two-car collision at the corner of Pine and Hemlock roads.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, an Infiniti sedan was traveling north on Pine at around 5:20 p.m. when a Hyundai Elantra heading west on Hemlock entered the intersection, causing the sedan to strike it broadside.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 38-year-old Ocala man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle in the collision, suffering critical injuries. He was taken to the hospital. His 47-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Infiniti also suffered minor injuries, according to the report.
