MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – While it felt like it didn’t rain as much as anticipated over the past few days, those low-to-medium rain chances will hang around North Central Florida until after mid-week.

According to the National Weather Service, daytime temps will hover in the high 80s after Monday’s predicted trip over 90, and nights will slowly begin to heat up into the high 60s.

Tuesday, May 12: A chance of showers before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11am and 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Tuesday night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
