ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a two-car collision near the entrance to Boulware Springs Park at SE 15th St. in Gainesville on the evening of Wednesday, May 13, 2026, resulted in the death of a 35-year-old local woman.
The report states that a sedan traveling south on SE 15th St. collided with another car as it was turning left onto SE 15th while leaving the park. The collision occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle turning onto SE 15th from the park, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. All four occupants of the other vehicle involved suffered injuries described in the report as “serious.” Apart from the driver, who is 18, none of the other occupants’ ages were provided by the FHP.
