MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The rain has been toying with North Central Florida over the past few weeks, often forecast but only occasionally and randomly dropping by various areas of the region to tease the soil with just a bit of what it needs so badly.
Expect more of the same this weekend. A 30 percent chance of afternoon rain or thunderstorms on Friday climbs to 50 percent by Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, though we all know that’s not exactly a rock-solid indicator of when (and where) it will show up. Day and nighttime temps continue to climb slowly as well, hanging in the low 90s during the day and reaching the mid-70s overnight.
