This caboose serves as a symbol of railroad heritage, shaping the rise of the Withlacoochee State Trail. After the final performance of the evening, guests can watch the display of fireworks shoot off from Lake Henderson. Guests can watch the display from Liberty Park, Depot District or Wallace Brooks Park at 328 E. Dampier St. For those who want to commemorate the occasion, everyone will have the opportunity to purchase Summer of 250 merchandise.
The Summer of 250 is Inverness’s month-long celebration of events, community activities and hometown fun. This celebration of America 250 began in June, leading up to the big Patriotic Evening. To remember this semiquincentennial observance, they offer limited-edition shirts and hats for guests to order online or pick up at the Parks & Recreations office and events.
Take the opportunity to celebrate Independence Day and America 250 with this family-friendly community event for an exciting day out. Admission to this event is free and open to the public for friends and family to gather together.
