LEVY COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Levy County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 25-year-old convicted felon Peter Stefani on an active warrant this week when they found him in Bronson with a loaded firearm.

According to an LCSO release, a deputy located Stefani at a Bronson Marathon convenience store on Thursday, July 9, 2026, and arrested him on an active warrant for violating his probation pursuant to a previous charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

At the time of his arrest, Stefani reportedly had a loaded Glock .45 caliber handgun in waistband, as well as well as more than $2,500 in U.S. currency on his person.

“Stefani was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon in addition to being arrested on the active felony warrant,” read the announcement.

Stefani was booked into the Levy County jail without bond.
