LEVY COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a 30-year-old Bronson man was killed this morning in a two-vehicle collision on SR 24 on the Levy County side of the Alachua-Levy county line.
According to the FHP report, the man was driving a pickup west on SR 24 east of NE 116th Street at about 7:09 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, when a truck directly in front of him slowed in preparation for a left turn into a private drive. The pickup was unable to slow in time to avoid a collision and struck the truck’s rear.
The pickup driver died as a result of his injuries from the collision. The truck driver, a 55-year-old Ocala man, was unharmed.
