ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – 352Today has received reports that multple agencies have responded to a small plane crash near Micanopy.
According to a social media post by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, they are responding, along with Alachua County Fire Rescue, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Fire Rescue and other agencies, to the scene of a single engine plane crash in west of I-75 in the Micanopy area.
The site of the crash has been located, and both occupants of the plane are reportedly not badly injured. Authorities are leading the occupants out of the marshy area so they can be evaluated by medics.
