OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department announces the return of the Sunset Songs Series for its third season at Citizens’ Circle, 151 SE Osceola Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m.

This monthly outdoor concert series takes place on the second Friday of each month, from October through March, and features local and regional artists performing original music ranging from reggae and blues to rock and electronic. All concerts are free to attend.

The series will kick off on Oct. 9 with the reggae band SensaMotion. A rising force in American reggae, SensaMotion brings their Atlantic City roots to the Sunset Songs Series. What began nearly 16 years ago as a group of friends united by a shared love of music has evolved into a band celebrated for its uplifting sound and mindful, message‑driven songwriting. Their 2023 album “Life In True Color” earned praise across the reggae scene for its emotional depth and thoughtful production.

Building on that momentum, the band continued to expand its national presence in 2025 with two standout singles featuring collaborations with Stick Figure and The Hip Abduction, followed by their sophomore album “Feel It All Around.” SensaMotion’s warm, soulful energy makes them an ideal act to launch this year’s Sunset Songs Series.

In addition to live music, guests can enjoy on‑site food trucks and alcoholic beverages available for purchase through the Ocala Outreach Program.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. For more information, visit ocalafl.gov/sunsetsongsseries.
