WILDWOOD, FL (352today.com) – Downtown Wildwood is getting a new place to eat, drink and play, but locals are still waiting for the doors to officially open.
The Yardery, a Central Florida restaurant and entertainment concept, is coming to 101 S. Main St., Unit 2, across from Wildwood City Hall. The Wildwood location will be the third for the business, which also has locations in Sanford and Mount Dora. The Yardery describes itself as an “Eat, Drink & Play” destination, combining food and drinks with outdoor games, live entertainment and spaces for people to gather. The Wildwood location is planned to include indoor and outdoor seating, lawn games such as cornhole, foosball and giant Connect Four, a rooftop bar overlooking downtown and a stage for live entertainment.
The location is also expected to offer space for private events, including parties, fundraisers, corporate gatherings and weddings. The company has said the Wildwood restaurant will initially feature its existing menu of backyard-inspired comfort food, craft cocktails and local beers, with plans to eventually use the location to experiment with new menu items, specials and tableside preparations.
The Wildwood location was originally announced with a projected opening in late July or early August 2026, but no confirmed opening date has been announced. In an Aug. 17 social media post, The Yardery said it was still finalizing construction and encouraged customers to visit its Sanford or Mount Dora restaurants in the meantime. As of late September, the Wildwood location is not yet listed among the regular locations on The Yardery’s main website. For updates, visit The Yardery or follow the business on social media.
