MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 64-year-old Tampa man was killed in a single-vehicle collision along NW 100th Street in Ocala Sunday night.

According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on NW 100th Street on the night of Sunday, October 4, 2026, when the truck left the roadway at approximately 11 p.m.

The truck ran onto the grass shoulder on the north side of the road, and collided head-on with a cable box and utility pole.

The driver, who had not been wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle as it spun and overturned.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
