OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The fall season in Ocala is getting a little more theatrical as Lo-Fi Theatre Company brings “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” to the Marion Theatre with a live shadowcast.

During the performances, actors from Lo-Fi Theatre Company will perform onstage in costume while the original 1975 film plays behind them. The interactive experience invites audiences to dress up, sing along and join in with the cult classic’s famously energetic audience participation.

The shadowcast will take the stage at 7 and 10 p.m. Oct. 16-17 and Oct. 30-31 at the Marion Theatre, 50 S. Magnolia Ave. in downtown Ocala. Tickets range from $23 to $38, with admission including a goodie bag containing props for the show and a callback cheat sheet.

VIP tickets include a novelty character bag with additional goodies. Costumes are encouraged, whether guests want to dress as a favorite character or simply embrace the Halloween spirit.

The performances are for guests ages 18 and older, making the late-October shows an adults-only way to celebrate Halloween with one of the most recognizable B-movies of all time.

With four nights of performances leading into Halloween weekend, the shadowcast gives local fans a chance to experience “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” as more than a movie—with live performers, costumes and an audience ready to do the Time Warp again.
