SILVER SPRINGS, FL (352today.com) – Hey adults with no children, or who have children but would like a little “adult party” fun this season in between all the trunk-or-treats and trick-or-treating and kids’ zones and costume contests:
The Friends of Silver Springs State Park has you covered.
The organization’s newest FUNdraiser (heh) will get into the fantastic spirit of the season on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Silver Springs State Park, and this one’s just for the 21-and-up crowd.
“The event vibe is super chill outdoor fun around the river, highlighting the magic of nature,” said Assistant Park Manager Nicky Aiken in an email about the event.
Guests will enjoy an evening of dancing, entertainment, specialty cocktails and more, including a nature lovers’ vibe that features various vendors and exhibitors as well as a guided Spider Walk for those so inclined.
And hey, if you’re just there for the party, you can enjoy DJ Mike, a drum circle, lawn games, photos ops and live music from another Mike Coker. The party takes place around the Lundy Building and headsprings at the park; most of the aforementioned fun will take place outside, while the DJ and dancing will be on tap in the Paradise Ballroom.
Costumes are encouraged, as is dressing up to fit the occasion and adults-only theme.
The Spellbound Silver Fantasy Ball runs from 7-10 p.m. on Oct. 30. Tickets are $10, and ID is required for entry. The entrance to the soiree will be at 5656 E. Silver Springs Blvd.
The organizers are still accepting vendors and other organizations who would like to have a presence at the event; interested parties should email Nicky.Aiken@FloridaDEP.gov.
