OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Florida-based HR, payroll and workforce management company CoAd is teeing it up for the 9th time to raise money for a worthy children’s charity tomorrow, Monday, October 26, 2026.

The 9th Annual Grip It and Rip It for Kids tournament benefits Ocala’s own Arnette House, a 501(c)(3) that offers emergency shelter, counseling, crisis intervention and more focusing on the wellbeing of kids in the community aged 10-17.

This year’s Grip It and Rip It follows a standard competitive play format—which means it’s not a scramble, so you can’t count on Trevor from Accounting’s awesome short game to save your foursome—but also includes favorite extras like longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests, as well as a 50/50 raffle and a swag bag for all participants. Everybody will be treated to lunch after the tourney, as well.

“The Grip It-N-Rip It for Kids Golf Tournament is something we look forward to every year because it gives us an opportunity to bring our clients, partners, employees and the local community together in support of an organization doing important work for local youth and families,” said Bill Barnette, CoAd business consultant and tournament founder, in an announcement. “We’re proud to continue this tradition and grateful to everyone who helps make the tournament possible.”

The event takes place at the Country Club of Ocala. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with an 8:30 shotgun start. At press time the tournament still has a few slots open at $235 per individual or $775 per foursome. There may be some last-minute openings for event sponsors if your company or organization is interested; contact Bill Barnette at 352-425-2033 or bbarnette@coadvantage.com for details.

The Country Club of Ocala is located at 6823 SE 12th Circle in Ocala.
