MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 33-year-old Orlando motorcyclist was killed in a collision while trying to turn onto an I-75 on-ramp Monday night in Marion County.

According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, an SUV was traveling westbound on County Road 484 in southern Marion County at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, when it turned left to enter the on-ramp to southbound Interstate 75.

The SUV entered the path of a motorcycle traveling eastbound on CR 484, reportedly violating the motorcycle’s right-of-way.

The front end of the SUV struck the right side of the motorcycle in “a T-bone type collision,” throwing the rider from the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

(CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story confounded the vehicles, reporting that the motorcycle attempted to turn and entered the SUV’s right of way, when the opposite was true. 352Today regrets the error.)
