OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida has launched the Going Gator partnership, a new opportunity that guarantees qualified CF students transfer admission into the University of Florida’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The program is aimed at students pursuing an Associate in Arts degree at CF, which already accounts for more than half of the college’s enrollment. CF’s tuition is roughly half the cost of a Florida public university, making it an affordable option for students planning to continue their education.
“Our Associate in Arts degree is our largest and most popular program,” said CF President Dr. Jim Henningsen. “This new partnership with the University of Florida offers students a guided pathway from day one to set them up for success.”
To stay eligible for Going Gator, students must remain in good academic standing and follow their academic pathway. The program offers guaranteed transfer into 19 UF programs, including English, history and various sciences.
“At the University of Florida,” said CLAS Interim Dean Dr. Mary Watt, “we are committed to expanding access to world-class education… We look forward to welcoming these students into the Gator Nation.”
