TALLAHASSEE, FL (352today.com) – As students across Florida head back to school, the Florida Lottery is reminding eligible students to submit their Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) by August 31 to be considered for a Bright Futures Scholarship.

“Back to school season marks the beginning of new opportunities for students across our state,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Reginald D. Dixon. “The Bright Futures Scholarship Program has helped generations of Florida students turn their dreams into reality by providing critical support throughout their educational journeys. We advise every student to learn more about the program and understand the requirements they must meet to receive a Bright Futures Scholarship.”

“Education has the power to change lives and build a stronger future for Florida and the nation. For more than three decades, the Bright Futures Scholarship Program has helped make educational opportunities more accessible for Florida students.
