BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) — Looking for an easy, family-friendly way to kick off the weekend? Head over to Lake Lillian this Friday night for Belleview’s Friday Foodie Fest — a free community event packed with food, fun, and activities for all ages.
Taking place from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on May 16, the monthly event transforms Lake Lillian Park into a bustling block party. Families can expect a lively atmosphere filled with inflatables, face painting, DJ entertainment, and a vendor marketplace. And of course, the main attraction: a wide variety of local food trucks serving up something for every craving.
“Each of these events reflects a unique aspect of what we strive to offer as a city — support for lifelong learning, space for artistic expression, and opportunities for neighbors to come together,” said Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager for the City of Belleview. “Whether someone is planning for their financial future, picking up a new hobby, or just looking for a fun night out with the family, our May programming provides something for everyone. We’re proud to host these experiences free of charge and to continue investing in the quality of life for our residents.”
Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs, come hungry, and enjoy a relaxed night outdoors while the kids burn off some energy and parents browse local vendors or grab a bite from one of the food trucks. It’s a low-stress, high-reward way to spend your Friday evening — and a perfect excuse not to cook.
