MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Business openings slowed down a bit as summer really hit North Central Florida, but there were still a large handful of places that cut ribbons, opened their doors and said hello to various 352 communities.

Here’s our compiled list of exciting new businesses to open around the 352 in June.

ALDI

The Euro grocery store converted a Winn-Dixie to open its second location within The Villages at La Plaza Grande on June 11. La Plaza Grande, Spanish Springs, The Villages.

Bojangles

The “Carolina classic chicken chain” reopened its only Ocala location under new management on June 11, after hosting a soft opening meal for first responders. 4828 SW College Rd., Ocala. 352-789-6000

Ellianos Coffee

The Lake City-founded drive-thru coffee chain launched another location in the 352 when its Williston location opened June 24. That makes, what, a gajillion of ’em? And that’s not even including the two new Ocala locations–the one out on Maricamp opened July 1, and the one on Pine near downtown is expected to announce an opening date soon. 13 W. LeShell’s Cafe

This Southern and soul food restaurant has changed location to the Paddock Market and held its ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening on June 11. Word on the social media street is that they’ll also be offering breakfast soon. 3100 SW College Rd., Suite 3091, Ocala. 352-292-9820

Purrs and Pages Cat Cafe & Bookstore

One of the more unique and anticipated launches of the summer, Purrs and Pages opened on June 5, offering not just snacks, books and feline time, but also cat adoptions from nonprofit rehoming organization House Meow (after a rigorous screening process, of course). 1216 E. Walmart Neighborhood Market

Another June 24 grand opening, Walmart’s latest opened its doors at the Lady Lake/The Villages nexus with gift card giveaways, entertainment and even an appearance by UF football legend Steve Spurrier. 1220 HWY 466, Lady Lake. 352-561-7725
