OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Rock the Country rolled into Ocala last week with RVers and tent campers showing up Thursday when the gates opened at Florida Horse Park in Ocala noon. While no official numbers have been released, the two-day event amassed thousands of people – and five arrests, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Friday’s performers included Gavin Adcock, Jo Dee Messina, Diamond Rio, Little Texas, Logan Crosby, Ying Yang Twins, Dee Jay Silver, with Nickelback closing out the night.

Saturday proved to be tricky, thanks to periods of severe weather. Performers included Hank Williams Jr., Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, Hudson Westbrook, Afroman, Dee Jay Silver, and an explosive close to the night by Kid Rock. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t hold off for Tracy Lawrence’s set, and the performance was canceled earlier that afternoon.
