ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Incumbent Rep. Kat Cammack (R) has beaten back a challenge from Democrat Seth Harp to keep her seat in Congress.

Harp lost by a little more than 10 points to the popular Cammack, who first took the seat in the 2020 election and had 54.9 percent of the vote to Harp’s 43.2 percent when the Associated Press called the race, projecting her to win.

Independent candidate and military veteran Mike Klein, who seemed to make plenty of noise in the district in the run-up to the general election, trailed far back with less than 2 percent of the vote.
