OCALA, FL (352today.com) – An announcement posted to the Ocala Police Department’s social media this morning invites all members of the community to join multiple local and state agencies in honoring those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
“Join us in honoring the courageous law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice,” the announcement read. “This solemn event is an opportunity to pay tribute to our local officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. Together, we can show our gratitude and respect for the sacrifices made by our fallen officers and support their loved ones.”
The Fallen Officer Memorial takes place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m. at the McPherson Campus, 601 SE 25th Ave. in Ocala.
