MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Marion County’s Parks and Recreation department is known for throwing a good outdoor event amid our beautiful environs, and an annual seasonal family favorite returns to Ocala this weekend.
The 8th Annual Fall Carnival will bring all the harvest season fun possible when it sets up at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
We’re talking about a trick-or-treat trail. We’re talking about hayrides. We’re talking about a petting zoo, and games, and food trucks, and the awesome annual haunted stalls. It’s an eminently family-friendly evening of play that makes great use of the region’s character and culture to really bring the season to life.
Admission to the 8th Annual Fall Carnival is free, but “youth activity armbands” will cost $5—or five non-perishable food items for the region’s annual Bring the Harvest Home October food drive, which is always a smart and helpful choice.
The events run from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday. Southeastern Livestock Pavilion is located at 2232 NE Jacksonville Rd. in Ocala.
