BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) — The City of Belleview has announced a new partnership with Pat Myers Electric to install upgraded lighting at the large pavilion in Lake Lillian Park. The improvements aim to enhance both safety and atmosphere for popular evening events like Friday Foodie Fest, Trunk or Treat, and Light Up Lake Lillian.
The project includes two light units on the sides of the pavilion and a pole-mounted unit to illuminate the front and surrounding area. City officials say the upgrade will provide more consistent lighting, helping create a more inviting and festive space for community gatherings.

“This lighting upgrade at Lake Lillian is a significant step in enhancing the safety and enjoyment of our public spaces, especially during evening events,” said Bob Titterington, Director of Public Works. “We are grateful to Pat Myers Electric for their donation of their expertise and support in making this vision a reality.”
Pat Myers Electric is donating both materials and labor for the project.
“As a local business, it’s an honor to be able to give back to the community in such a meaningful way,” said owner Pat Myers. “The Lake Lillian Pavilion is such a central part of Belleview’s vibrant community.”
Work is expected to begin soon, with city staff emphasizing the lighting will not only improve safety but elevate the experience of events held at the park.
“Our goal is to make our events more enjoyable, more accessible, and safer for everyone involved,” said Robert Vass, Events & Promotions Manager.
