MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 78-year-old Ocala man was struck by a sedan and killed while walking along HWY 441 in Ocala Friday night.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the man was walking on the right side of the right northbound lane of HWY 441 near the intersection of SE 11th Avenue when he was struck by a northbound vehicle at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Northbound lanes of HWY 441 were closed temporarily due to the investigation.
