OCALA, FL (352today) – Meet the sweetest 60-pound lowrider who is patiently waiting for his forever home at the Humane Society of Marion County.
Fat Boi found his way to the HSMC in an unconventional way. While helping move the dogs from Marion County Animal Services to their new shelter, the Humane Society of Marion County fell in love at first sight with Fat Boi. The next day, they went back to MCAS to ask that Fat Boi be transferred to the HSMC.
Fat Boi is a black pup with a white chest and white front paw that are incredibly endearing. At 6-years-old Fat Boi loves to play with toys, will never say no to treats, and will take a lot of naps. Although the exact breed of Fat Boi is unknown, his facial features hint at some sort of bulldog mix.

The ideal home for Fat Boi will be calm and with lots of places to nap. With plenty of toys, treats, and love, Fat Boi will be the light in his new forever home.
Individuals interested in Fat Boi can visit the Humane Society of Marion County, Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., located at 701 NW 14th Road in Ocala. To stay updated on all things Humane Society of Marion County, follow the HSMC Facebook page.
