MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Department of Transportation has announced part of the I-75/CR 484 interchange in southern Marion County will close overnight.

According to the FDOT announcement, the off-ramp from southbound I-75 to CR 484 will close from 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning–and may have to close for the same time period Tuesday night as well.

This time around, the closure is for the installation of traffic detection sensors, which are used to collect data on vehicle movement.

The southbound off-ramp was previously closed at the end of May for milling and resurfacing.

“Motorists traveling south on I-75 who wish to access CR 484 will be directed to instead exit at State Road (SR) 200 (Exit 350), turn right on S.R. 200, then turn left on SW 43rd Street and proceed east to SW 27th Avenue,” read the announcement, in part. “Turn right on SW 27th Avenue, continue to CR 475A, and go south to CR 484.”
